THE BREAKFAST CLUB - RELEASED IN 1985

Directed and Written by - John Hughes
When five teens from different social circles of a high school all have detention on a Saturday, the principal wants them to write an essay. At first they all hate each other, but after a while they start to warm up and they pour their hearts out and speak about their secrets, fears and problems.

This heart warming story of five foes' that become friends is a funny insight to the lives of teenagers. I Thoroughly enjoyed watching these soul-searching teens discover that there is more to people that what meets the eye. John Hughes brilliantly captures the era in our lives and the social rifts we go through, through these contrasting teens.  So if it's a rainy day outside and you have nothing to do, I would  highly recommend watching this, it makes you laugh and maybe shed a little tear! ENJOY

"Does that answer your question?... Sincerely yours, the Breakfast Club."
